Go the schedule a select the class you’d like to attend
If you have a pass, it’ll automatically deduct the class.
If you don’t have a pass, you’ll be prompted to purchase one from our pricing page.
If you have multiple children attending, first, create an account for yourself, then for each child (see family profiles below) this lets you manage and book classes for your child from a single login
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Every child needs their own profile. We then link those profiles to your account so you can book and pay for all of them from one login.
Each profile needs its own email address, so use the “+” trick with your own email. If your email is jane@gmail.com, use jane+alex@gmail.com for Alex and jane+sam@gmail.com for Sam. Everything still lands in your normal inbox. Works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and iCloud.
How to add a sibling
Create your own parent profile here using your regular email. Skip this step if you already have one.
Create a separate profile for each child at the same link, using a “+” version of your email.
Email getmoving@youthleteacademy.ca with your name and email, plus each child’s full name and the email you used for them.
We link the profiles to your account on our end, usually within a day.
Log in with your own email and you can book classes, buy passes and manage schedules for every child from one place.
A few things to know
You can’t link the profiles yourself. There is no link button in your account, so step 3 is the one that matters.
Each child still needs their own class pass or membership. Passes are not shared between siblings.
Everything links to your parent profile, not to each other.

While we don’t have a minimum age, your child must be mature enough to be coached and not parented. Generally, a mature 7/8 year old is the minimum.
If you’re unsure about leaving your child with a coach, we kindly request that you stay for the class and parent if needed. Unfortunately, we cannot parent and coach a class while delivering a great experience to the rest of the class participants. If your child is unable to stay attentive, we’ll inform you that they may not be mature enough to participate in future classes at this time.

Showers/Bathrooms: Shower towels and sweat towels are provided (In the event your child would like to shower)
Lockers: For children attending independently, lockers are available in the bathrooms to store personal items. This helps keep the reception area and gym space clear. Parents are welcome to hold onto their children's belongings. It's a small club and locks aren't required but can be used if you wish.
-
Hang Out: We have a small reception area for parents who wish to wait and chat. Alternatively, you're welcome to observe the class from inside the gym, using available benches or boxes. We kindly ask that you minimize conversation and interaction with the children during class to reduce distractions, as they benefit most from focusing on the coach's instructions. However, we encourage enthusiastic cheering during relay races or other final activities.
Off-Site Option: Tommy's Coffee and Wine Bar, located across the street, offers a comfortable seating area where you can work, have a conversation, or enjoy a beverage.
Media: As you noticed in our waiver, we have a media release form. As such, we ask that you refrain from taking videos/photos during the class unless this is a private dryland training session and your team allows this. If so, we can always use support with a share!
-
Indoor Shoes: Please provide a separate pair of clean indoor shoes for your child. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the gym. We often begin workouts in socks to enhance foot and ankle musculature, promoting proper gait and running mechanics.
Water Bottle: Our reception sink serves as a water bottle filling station. Water and Cwench beverages are also available for purchase in the fridge.

While our programs vary (e.g., dryland training vs. strength and conditioning), our core philosophy remains consistent: foundational movement principles are essential for success in both sports and everyday life. We deliver these principles in a supportive and engaging manner, ensuring each participant is challenged according to their individual ability. We believe physical activity should be a positive experience. Therefore, if a child is disruptive or not following instructions, we will ask them to sit out for a brief observation period, rather than resorting to punitive exercises.
-
Your child's safety is our top priority.
Resistance training is safe for youth and does not stunt growth. However, many children lack the kinesthetic awareness required for advanced weightlifting. We focus on resistance movements that minimize injury risk, even with less-than-perfect form, while allowing them to develop proper technique.
Feeling out of breath during exercise is normal and safe, although it can be unfamiliar for children new to physical exertion. We will safely encourage children to step outside their comfort zones, when they are ready, while emphasizing the positive aspects of camaraderie and post-workout endorphins.
For a deeper understanding of these concepts, please listen to our podcast at youthleteacademy.ca/podcast.

We have a 1-hour late cancellation policy. You can remove your child from a class from their profile or yours if you manage their account without penalty up to 1 hour before the class start time. After that, you will forfeit your class pass. No-shows occur when you are signed up for a class but do not attend. You will forfeit the class pass and be charged a $20 no-show fee.

Class passes have varying expiration dates depending on the package purchased. To check your remaining classes and expiry date, log in to your account at TeamBuildr OS. If you have questions about your specific pass, feel free to reach out to us at getmoving@youthleteacademy.ca.
